Since I was 16 Years old I served as a primary caregiver for my grandmother and grandfather. Since my mother is working abroad me and my Aunt took care of my Grandparents. My duties include doing laundry, shopping, cooking and cleaning. Since my grandmother fell ill with arthritis, I have also been accompanying her on the way to the doctor, to church and to her friends. I also supported her with walking and her daily hygiene. In our free time, I cut and dye her hair, give her a manicure or we sing and talk to each other or watch her favorite telenovela. I also massage her when she is in pain. I took care of my grandfather especially after he became ill with heart failure. When he was in the hospital, I did his laundry and took care of the hospital bureaucratic affairs. After he was released from the hospital, I cleaned his wounds and gave him a bath. I also took care of his medication so that he always took the right medication. I also took his blood pressure every morning and evening. When he couldn't move so well, I also feed him. Currently, I'm undergoing a Online Course for Health Services. I'm also waiting to take my Exam for German A1.
