I worked for 2 years in WALK as a Social Care Worker. WALK is a Dublin-based organisation, who support individuals with intellectual disabilities to live self-determined lives. In my role, I assisted each individual to develop real life skills, and achieve personal goals, such as finding possible job opportunities or a suitable college course. Using a person-centred approach, I worked with my key clients to develop personal timetables each week. I built up a great rapport with each individual I worked with, and thoroughly enjoyed going into work every day. I speak fluent English, and I am in the process of learning German. I have two degrees relating to Health Science, and Public Health, with 7 years of experience in Hospitality, and 2 years experience in Social Care. I am reliable, hardworking and love meeting new people. I always have a positive attitude, and I'm a naturally happy person.
