I started babysitting my little cousin when I was 16, since she was 3 until she was 6 years. Then, when I was 20, I worked as a nanny taking care of a kid that was 1 year and 8 months until he was 4. This last experience was very intense, as the kid's mother had mental issues and she was not in contact with him for the first year. I would come to his house in the mornings, wake him up, prepare and give him his breakfast, then we would usually play at home or at the park. For lunch I would also cook and I would sit together with him while we ate. After lunch I took him to kindergarten either by bike or public transport. I have also worked during a whole year in a kindergarden with kids between 2 and 4 years old teaching them English through games. I am also the daughter of a kindergarden teacher and I believe this has been a great influence for me. During my time as a student (I got a degree in Translation) I would also offer private tutoring in English for primary school students who needed extra support.
