I started as a babysitter, and later worked as an after school aide in the local primary school, often caring for over thirty children at a time. For about a year I was an aide to a boy with cerebral palsy as well. Since then, I have worked closely with five families as a nanny, including two in which English was not the children's native language. Having nannied in New York City, I am familiar with the sometimes chaotic schedules of families living in a big city. I understand that every child and every family has different needs, and would be happy to work with your family to figure out how those needs can be met.
