Dear families, I am Izabela, I am 26 years old and I come from Croatia. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early and Preschool education which means that I am a childcare educator. I have been working in the daycare centre for three and a half years (two years in Croatia and a year and a half in Germany). In Germany I worked as English speaking educator. The whole 2022 I spent living in the United States participating in the AuPair in America Cultural Exchange Program. In the US I lived with the host family and took care of their daughter who was 18 months old at the time of my arrival. I have an experience of working in the daycare centre and being a teacher, but after my au pair experience, I would say that being a nanny suits me better. I prefer calmer environment and taking care of smaller amount of children where I can fully focus on a child. In the Kita being responsible for over 20 small children it is challenging to provide each child a quality time they deserve. Croatian is my mother tongue and I am fluent in English.
